Personal Philosophy
Beyond data pipelines and architecture diagrams, I believe impact comes from balancing high-tech with high-touch. Technology builds systems, but perspective shapes the value those systems create.
When I’m not designing data ecosystems, you’ll usually find me exploring the philosophy of AI, playing electric guitar, training hard at the gym, running, or discovering new coffee spots and craft breweries. Music is also a constant in my day. I’m almost always listening to something, whether through speakers or headphones.
For me, a great engineer is not defined only by technical skill, but by curiosity, discipline and the ability to connect ideas across different worlds.
Life & Relocation
In 2019, I made a defining decision: relocating to Portugal with my family in search of a better quality of life, stronger security and new professional challenges.
The move was driven by the ambition to work on international projects, explore more mature data ecosystems and expand both my technical and personal horizons.
Today, Portugal is our home. Our family has grown, now with two dogs (Tonho and Apollo), and the balance between career evolution and personal life has become a reality rather than a goal.
This journey reflects how I approach life: intentional decisions, aligned with long-term vision, continuous growth and purpose.
